Andersen, Jean Marie (Marriage – 29 March 1975)

Mr. and Mrs. Steve Revels, who were married March 29 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Madison, by the Rev. Wayne Vetter, are making their home in Madison where both are employed.

The bride, the former Jean Marie Andersen, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dineo, Jr., of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Andersen of Big Flats. Mr. Andersen present his daughter in marriage. The groom is the son of Mrs. Sylvia Brown of Madison.

An arrangement of stephanotis, miniature carnations and bridal rose buds complimented the bride’s empire-waist gown of acetate styled with a lace yoke and long, lace-cuffed sleeves. Her triple-tiered, shoulder-length veil was held by a flower headband.

Judy Kay Andersen, twin sister of the bride, was her maid of honor, and another sister, Mrs. Karen Arndt, was the bridesmaid. Both are of Madison. Their dusky blue gowns were styled identically to the bride’s. Miniature carnations and pink rose buds formed their bouquets.

The groom’s uncle, Mike Brown, served as bestman and a cousin, Dick Sears, was the groomsman. Nephews of the groom, Glen and Chuck Stanford, acted as ushers.

“We’ve Only Just Begun” was sung by Mrs. Laura Miller of Neillsville, sister of the bride. A cousin, Anna Anding of Granton, was the organist.

Following a reception in the church parlors, a dance was held at Pitches Pub in Madison.

The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by her attendants at the home of Mrs. Karen Arndt.

A member of the Neillsville High School Class of 1970, the new Mrs. Revels has been employed in Madison since her graduation.
