Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mertens and family and Mrs. Elva Mertens were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Mertens in Stanley on Thanksgiving.

Mr. Duane Miller left Monday for Indiana, after spending the deer hunting season in the area and visiting his mother, Mrs. Ellen Miller and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blunck and family returned to their home in Union Grove on Saturday after visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah, and also did some deer hunting in the Neillsville area.

Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Engel were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Engel and son of Thorp, and Miss Theresa Funk. In the afternoon they also visited Mrs. Norma Funk and Mrs. Priscilla Heuer and family in Thorp.

Guests at the Howard Blazer home over Thanksgiving weekend were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hofmeister and children of Menomonee Falls.
