Gallus, Lynne K. (Eddingsaas) (12 SEP 1942 - 15 JUL 2018)

Lynne K. Gallus, 75, longtime Phillips resident died on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips.

She was born on September 12, 1942, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Otis and Gladys (Miller) Eddingsaas. She attended grade and high school in Milwaukee where she graduated from Juneau High School, Class of 1960.

She was married to John A. Gallus on June 25, 1960, in Milwaukee. They recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. She was employed as a payroll clerk in Milwaukee until 1977. They then made their home on Phillips. She and her husband John owned and operated Gallus’s Stoney Point Tavern, Phillips as well as being employed in the bakery dept. of the Phillips IGA for many years prior to her retirement in 2010. In her free time she enjoyed the Packers, photography, flower gardening, traveling Wisconsin, spending time at their cabin, and antiqueing.

She is survived by her husband John, Phillips, by 2 sons: Mark (Diane) Gallus, Antigo, WI, and Kevin (Mary Ann) Gallus, Green Bay, WI, by 2 grandsons: Dalton and Dylan, and by 1 brother Lee (Jan) Eddingsaas, Oshkosh, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by 1 sister Joy Filter.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on July 28, 2018, at the Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, with Pastor Terry Sellers officiating. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home until the time of the service.
