Digoski, John Charles (11 April 1917 – 22 February 1975)

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday from the Holy Family Catholic Church for John Charles Digoski, 57, of Willard, who died February 22 at his home. The Rev. Michael Mertens was to officiate, and burial was to be made in the Holy Family Cemetery in Willard.

The son of Paul and Josephine (Moras) Digoski, he was born April 11, 1917 in Kalamazoo, Mi. In 1920 moved with his family to Willard and lived on the family farm until his death.

A veteran of World War II, he served in Germany from 1941 to 1947.

He is survived, by two sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Caroline Prebiliski of Thorp, Mrs. Francis Morris of Chicago; Pete and Joe of Willard and Walter of Neillsville.
