Thomas W. Bertz Sr., a former resident of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), is now a partner with the Stevens Point law firm of Peickert, Anderson, Fisher, Shannon, and O'Brien. Bertz joined the law firm as an associated in April 1973.

He formerly practice law in Madison.

Bertz is the son of Florence Bertz and of the late Edward Bertz of Loyal. He is a graduate of Marquette University Law School. He and his wife, Fran, have a 3 1/2 year old son, Thomas Jr., and a 6 month old daughter, Suzanne.

Before entering Marquette, Bertz graduated with honors from St. Thomas College, St. Paul. He is an alumnus of Loyal High School.
