Cathy Ann Becker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Becker, R. 2, Colby (Clark
Co., Wis.), and Bruce Donald Schwieso, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso, R.
2, Loyal, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 1973 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, Wisconsin.
Father Roman Kaiser of the U.S. Air Force Academy performed the nuptial
ceremony, at which Mrs. Bernadette Gabriel played the organ, and Mr. Alan Becker
was the soloist.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was seen in a Victorian
style gown in chapel ivory, with a chapel length train. The veil was a Juliet
cap with a fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses, gold mums, and
baby's breath.
Miss Debby Firnstahl, Wausau, was maid of honor, and Miss Geri Becker, Colby,
Miss Schamie Schwieso, Loyal, and Mrs. Sharon Schwieso, Marshfield, were
bridesmaids. They wore gold dresses and carried a white muff with red roses
attached.
Mr. Jack Schwieso, Marshfield, was best man, with groomsmen being Mr. Mike
Spuhler, Loyal, Mr. Alan Becker, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, and Mr. Jim
Schwieso, Madison.
Ushers were Gary Donnermeyer, Kaukauna and Brian Schwieso, Loyal.
A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall,
Dorchester, Wisconsin.
The bride is a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, and her husband is a
graduate of Loyal High School, and is employed at Central State Supply in
Marshfield.
