Litka, Nancy Ruth (25 AUG 1973)

Miss Nancy Ruth Litka, 3879 67th St., Milwaukee, exchanged wedding vows with Mr. David Paul Flood, 345 W. River Drive, Oconomowoc, on Saturday, August 25, 1973 at 4:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Milwaukee.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Litka, Rt. 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. David L. Flood, Oconomowoc.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Edward P. Anderberg. Organist for the ceremony was Luther Bruggeman, and Mrs. Marilyn Polzin, served as soloist.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was seen in a traditional white gown of Chantilly lace, with trimmed bodice and a tiered skirt of lace. The tiered veil of shoulder length fell from a crown of seed pearl and rhinestones. She carried a colonial bouquet of miniature carnations and white sweetheart roses edged with netting.

Maid of honor was Miss Barbara Lieber, Milwaukee. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Carol Flood, Illinois, and Mrs. Kath Flood and Mrs. Perl Dernat, both of Oconomowoc.

The attendants' apparel consisted of aqua chiffon over taffeta gowns. They carried cameo shaped bouquets of white and yellow carnations and foret-me-notes with yellow satin streamers.

Best man was Thomas Doolittle, Waukegan, Ill. Groomsmen were Larry Litka, Loyal, Jeffery Flood and Larry Kich, both of Oconomowoc.

Serving as ushers were Michael Hansen and Harold Flood.

A reception, dinner and dance took place in the Camelot Room of the Bolers Lanes in Milwaukee.

The bride is a 1968 graduate of Loyal High School. She was employed as a dental assistant in Milwaukee.

The groom is a 1966 graduate of Warren High School , and is presently engaged in farming.

After a wedding trip to Canada, the couple will be at home at 346 W. River Drive, Oconomowoc.
