Fischer, Dorothy (5 FEB 1928 – 2 JUL 1973)
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby for Mrs. Ralph
(Dorothy) Fischer, Abbotsford, on July 4, 1973 at 11:00 a.m. Father Rushman
officiated. Burial followed at the West Spencer Cemetery.
The former Dorothy Bauer was born at Loyal on February 5, 1928. She received her
education in the Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) and Spencer schools. She was married to
Ralph Fischer at Spencer on June 11, 1947.
Mrs. Fischer was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Mary's Colby.
Pallbearers were: Ray LaBarge, Fred Kerksieck, Donald Paul, Ambrose Jicinski,
Francis Heber, and Gayle Forrest.
Rux Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Left to mourn are her husband, Ralph Fischer, six children, Ronald Fischer, 600
E. Maple St., Spencer, and Frederick, Joan, Mark, Mary, Cindy, all at home in
Abbotsford. Also surviving her are her parents, Laura Litka and Oscar Bauer; two
brothers, Jerome Bauer and Allen Bauer, and one sister, Mrs. (Berdean) Joseph
Weber. Mrs. Fischer is also survived by two grandchildren.
