Statz, Joan (Marriage – 11 January 1975)

Mr. And Mrs. Ron Seif, who were married January 11 in ceremonies performed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Henseler, are making their home on Rt. 3 Neillsville.

The new Mrs. Seif, the former Joan Statz, was presented in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Statz, Rt. 3 Neillsville. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Seif, Wisconsin Rapids.

A cascade arrangement of pink and white roses complimented the bride’s traditional white gown fashioned with a raised waistline and highlighted with pearl-embroidered flowers on the bodice and sleeves.

Angela Statz was honor attendant for the bride, and Miss Lori Seif of Wisconsin Rapids was the bridesmaid. They wore turquoise gowns and carried long-stemmed turquoise and white variegated carnations tied with ribbon.

Attending the groom were Jeff Luchterhand as bestman and Will; Statz as groomsman. Dennis Seif and Steve Seif served as ushers.

Mrs. Glen Short was the organist and Howard Mathis, the soloist.

Bali Hai supper club was the setting for a reception and dance.

The bride and groom are graduates of Neillsville High School and Lincoln High School, Wisconsin Rapids, respectively. He is engaged in farming.
