St. John, Alicia M. (Kangas) (18 SEP 1990 - 14 APR 2018)

Alicia M. St. John, loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital Palliative Care, after a fierce and aggressive battle with cancer. She was 27 years old.

She was born in Marshfield on September 18, 1990. Daughter of Larry St. John and Christine Kangas; sister to Sarah and Scooby (Lawrence) and loving mom to Devon and Ember. Shortly after graduating from Wausau East High School, Alicia took some courses at NTC in photography, hoping to follow her dream of becoming a photographer.

Alicia had a great sense of humor, a good heart and a beautiful smile. She would do anything for anyone, she loved her cats, music and life. But most important to Alicia were her friends, family and most importantly, her children. Alicia put her dream of becoming a photographer on hold when she found out she was going to become a mom. Alicia loved being a mom and there was nothing more important to her than making sure that Devon and Ember were happy and loved.
Alicia will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Devon and Ember; Parents, Larry St. John and Christine Kangas; siblings, Sarah and Scooby (Lawrence) St. John; Paternal grandma, Henrietta Woodkey and her maternal grandma, Debra Neally. Alicia is further survived by her aunts and uncles, Kevin St. John, Renee Olson and JoAnn (Dale) Thompson; cousins, Brandi Hoff, Crystal (Jason) Olerich, Jennifer (Nick) Klimpke and Dan Thompson; as well as many special friends.

A celebration of Alicia’s life will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Peterson as well as the team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital’s Palliative Care for their time, care and compassion for Alicia.

Online condolences may be shared on our family guestbook at www.helke.com
