Patchen, Robert “Bob” Lange (20 MAY 1955 - 14 APR 2018)

Robert “Bob” Lange Patchen, 62, of Chetek, Wis., died Saturday, April 14, 2018, at his home.

He was born on May 20, 1955, in Clearwater, Fla., to Lyle and Mary (Brindle) Patchen. Bob graduated from Anoka High School in 1973. He was a mechanic and a machinist all of his life. Bob was married to Tye Dixon in 1973, and later he was married to Melinda “Mindy” Kleusch on Aug. 29, 1996, in Barron County, Wis.

He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, fishing, NASCAR, traveling and being with his grandkids. He was proud of his log home that he built.

He is survived by his wife, Mindy Patchen, of Chetek; two sons, James Patchen (Missy Sprenger), of Spooner, Wis., and Jake Kleusch of Chetek; a daughter, Trisha (Jason) Morris, of Milaca, Minn.; three granddaughters, Avalee, Camryn and Brynlee; a sister, Judith Hildre, of Ramsey, Minn.; a nephew, Andrew; and a niece, Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Brindle, and a brother, Douglas Patchen.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 28, from noon to 5 p.m., at the Anoka American Legion in Anoka, Minn., and at Red’s in Chetek, on Saturday, June 9, from 11 a.m. – 3 a.m.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
