Lawrence, Diane (Marriage – 28 December 1974)
The Neillsville United Church of Christ was the setting Saturday, December 28,
for the wedding of Diane Lawrence of Eau Claire and Paul Haugen of Elk Mound.
The Rev. Gary Clark officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Schultz, Eau Claire are the bride’s parents. She was
presented in marriage by her father. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram
Haugen, Neillsville.
Attendants for the couple were Mrs. Penny Schultz, Eau Claire and John Haugen.
Miss Mary Jo Short sang “The Wedding Song.” The organist was Mrs. Beulah
Zoutendam.
Following the ceremony, a dinner was served at Bail-i-wick, Osseo.
The new Mrs. Haugen is employed as a secretary by an Eau Claire firm. Her
husband is the dairy manager of an Elk Mound dairy farm.
The couple will live on Rt. 1 Eau Claire, upon returning from a week’s wedding
trip.
