Potter, Janice M. (Wiese) (16 MAR 1941 - 29 MAR 2018)

Janice M. Potter, 77, of Phillips, WI, passed away Thursday morning, March 29, 2018 at her home.

The former Janice Marie Wiese was born on March 16, 1941 in Baraboo, WI, the daughter of the late Louis and Clara (Linderbalum) Wiese. On December 4, 1959 in Richmond, IL,

Janice was united in marriage to Norman R. Potter. They lived in Genoa City, WI until moving to Phillips, WI in 2000.

Janice worked as a self-employed seamstress. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and snowmobiling. She was a member of the Genasnoers Snowmobile Club in Genoa City. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake, WI.

Janice is survived by: 1 son, Gregory (Joyce) Potter of Phillips, WI; 2 daughters, Lynn Bank of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Claudia (Pat) Lewis of Genoa City, WI; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Delores (Don) Small of Lodi, WI and Dorene (Chuck) Behrens of Port Charlotte, FL, 1 brother, Garreth Wiese of Seattle, WA and a ½ sister Ellen Andres of Limeridge, WI.

Janice was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kevin and Kenneth.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 113 Freeman St. Genoa City, WI. A gathering of friends will be from 4:00PM until time of services at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo, WI.

Memorial remembrances may be directed to the Potter Family in care of the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home, Box 335 Genoa City, WI, 53128.
