The Owen-Withee High School faculty are happy to announce the Badger Boy and
Girl selections for 1970-71
Phil Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Larson, route 2, Withee (Clark Co.,
Wis.), was selected as the Badger By, but he felt he would be unable to attend
the camp this June, so Robert Vater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Vater, route 1,
Owen (Clark Co.), the alternate selected, will attend in his place.
These young people are sponsored by the Local American Legion Post & Auxiliary,
and selected from the junior class of Owen-Withee High School, by the high
school faculty. Scholarship, extra-curricular activities, and the ability to fit
into the state program as set up for these students were the criteria used in
their selection
