Ramminger, Joseph G. “Joe” (20 MAY 1967 - 4 MAR 2018)

Joseph G. “Joe” Ramminger, age 50, formerly of Colby, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Aurora Group Home in Thorp under the tender care of Hospice.

A private family service will be held at St. Mary Help of Christian Parish in Colby. Father Joseph Redfern will preside. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Colby is entrusted with arrangements.

Joe was born on May 20, 1967, the son of Milton and Nancy (Lang) Ramminger in Marshfield. He attended Colby High School. Joe had a love for motorcycles and was a daredevil. He enjoyed fishing and taking care of a variety of fish in his large fish tank. Most importantly, Joe cherished his family and had a strong faith.

Joe is survived by his mother, Nancy Ramminger of Colby; two brothers and two sisters, Jim Ramminger of Colby, Joyce (Rich) Thieme of Medford, Pam (Brian) Tyznik of Abbotsford and David Ramminger of Thorp; aunts and uncle, Shirley (Dale) Majerus of Abbotsford and Pauline Rimer of Stetsonville; step-aunts and step-uncles, Bob (Amy) Motelet of Fall Creek and Helen (Bill) Johnson of Ind.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton; and his brother, Michael.
