Lueth, Walter (3 JUL 1878 – 26 DEC 1969)

Funeral services were held at two o’clock Monday afternoon from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Walter Lueth, 91, who passed away December 26, 1969, at the Neillsville Hospital. Death was attributed to complications of old age. Rev. Arnold Woodring, pastor of the Alliance Church, Curtiss, officiated, with burial being made at Pink Hill Cemetery, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.).

The deceased was born July 3, 1878 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to the former Louis Haise in 1904 at Chicago, Illinois.

He is survived by four sons, Edward Lueth, Abbotsford; Fielder Lueth, Dorchester; Walter Lueth, Curtiss, and Carl Lueth, Hazlehurst. He was preceded in death by his wife.

Edward Lueth, and old resident of this city, died at his home on North 9th Street Friday morning, aged 86 years.

 

The deceased was born in Germany, and when a young man came to this country and settled in this city over 50 years ago.  Before retiring from active work he was employed as carpenter at the Burger Shipyards for over 25 years.

 

He is survived by three sons and two daughters, Richard and Robert of this city, Walter of Curtiss, Wis., Mrs. Larua Danz of Quincy, Ill., and Mrs. Amanda Parker of Chicago.

 

The funeral was held Monday afternoon from his late home on North Ninth Street, Rev. Machmiller officiating.  Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
