Stewart, Mr./Mrs. Guy (60th – 17 NOV 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stewart, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who were married November 17, 1909, at What Cheer, Iowa, observed the 60th anniversary of their marriage on November 9, 1969, when they entertained their children, who would have been unable to be home on the anniversary date.

The children and their spouses include: Mr. and Mrs. Dale Stewart, Mandan, N.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stewart, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. William (Hazel) Fahrenbach, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stewart and family of Withee.

Also present were a granddaughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Braun and family of Eau Claire, and nieces and nephews from La Crosse, Sparta, and Wausau.

On Sunday, November 16, neighbors and friends came to congratulate the anniversary couple and enjoy refreshments.

Mr. Stewart was born December 8, 1887, at New Sharron, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stewart. Mrs. Stewart, the former Anna Johnson, was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson September 6, 1889, in Andover, Illinois.
