Hatton, Clark LeRoy (12 March 1889 – 16 October 1974)

Clark LeRoy Hatton, 85, greenwood, died October 16, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he was admitted the morning before following a heart seizure.

Mr. Hatton, son of Frank and Mary (Gibson) Hatton, was born March 12, 1889, in Janesville. He was married in Greenwood November 15, 1915, to Myrtle Flagg, who survives.

He came to Greenwood from Janesville in 1902 and lived six miles southwest of Greenwood since.

He is survived, by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Craig (Eva) Asplin of Prophetstown, Il.; and two sons: Donald of St. Paul, Mn., and Frank of Greenwood. Seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Eugene Antrim officiated, and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
