Fisher, Janet M. (Pischke) (17 MAY 1936 - 13 JAN 2018)
Janet M. Fisher, age 81, formerly of Spencer passed away on Saturday, January
13, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at
Spencer United Methodist Church. Rev. Hyeok Won Kwon will officiate. Family and
friends are welcome from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Friday at the Church.
Janet was born on May 17, 1936, the daughter of Douglas and Mame (Ristow)
Pischke in LaCrosse. She grew up in North Bend and lived in that area until
moving to Spencer in 1986. Janet did secretarial work and worked at Rand Agency
Insurance.
On June 1, 1956, Janet was united in marriage to Jack Rand. They later divorced.
She was united in marriage to Grant Fisher. He preceded her in death.
Janet was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading,
cooking, going to fish frys, meeting friends for coffee and going to flea
markets and craft sales. Janet treasured any time she could spend with her
family and especially her grandchildren.
Janet is survived by two children: Jay (Julie) Rand of Placerville, CA and
Joleen (Randy) Schade of Colby; three grandchildren: Lee (Michelle) Rand,
Lindsey (Joe) Torres and Alyssa Schade; two great-grandchildren: Oliver and Thea
Rand. She is further survived by her sister, Mary Severson of Coon Rapids, MN;
sister-in-law, Rosetta (Richard) Nesvacil of Cadott; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willis Pischke.
