Zukowski, Anna F. (29 MAY 1887 – 07 FEB 1971)

Mrs. Anna F. Zukowski, 83, a resident of Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.), died at her home in Stanley Sunday afternoon.

Anna Hoffman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffman, was born May 29, 1887, at Keweeth, Illinois. She married George Zukowski, October 22, 1906 at St. Hedwig's Church, Thorp. They farmed in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area until 1945, when they moved to Stanley. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Parish, Stanley and the Polish National Alliance, Thorp.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, February 11, at eleven a.m. at Holy Family North Church, Stanley, with Father Donald Berg officiating. Interment will be made in St. Hedwig's Cemetery, Thorp. The body will lie in state at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, starting Wednesday afternoon. Members of the Polish National Alliance will act as pallbearers.

Surviving are four sons, Jacob of Stanley, William and Julius of Thorp, and Felix of Appleton; one daughter, (Florence) Mrs. Joe Piwoni of Thorp; one sister, Mrs. Frances Morgan of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on November 2, 1951, one daughter, two brothers, one sister, and her parents.
