Will, Mary Elizabeth (Spaeth) (10 DEC 1943 - 9 JAN 2018)

Mary E. Will, 74 of Ladysmith, WI died on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018 at her home.

She is survived by her husband Jim, 4 children: Jeffrey & Tammy of Rice Lake, WI, Angela & Kevin Pratt of New Auburn, WI, Jennifer & Doug Titera of Chippewa Falls, WI and John & Kimberly of Birchwood, WI, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers: Larry, Al, Ed and Ray and 4 sisters: Wilma, Rose, Char and Angela.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Ladysmith with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating.

Mary's family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.

Mary E. Will, 74, of Ladysmith, died on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 at her home.

Mary is survived by her husband, Jim and her children, Jeffery of Rice Lake, Angela Pratt of New Auburn, Jennifer Titera of Chippewa Falls and John of Birchwood. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers, Larry, Al, Ed and Ray and her sisters, Wilma, Rose, Char and Angela.

A memorial mass for Mary will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan.13 at OLS with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

Nash-Jackan Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Mary Elizabeth (Spaeth) Will, age 74, of Ladysmith, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018 surrounded by family in the comfort of her home.

She was born to the late Peter John Spaeth and Anna Francis (Mlsna) Spaeth on Dec. 10, 1943.
Mary graduated from Cashton High School, where she was a member of the Eagles cheerleading squad and was the homecoming queen in 1961. She married James P. Will on May 2, 1964 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cashton.

Mary held various jobs throughout her life including secretarial work for a CPA, clerk at the U.S. Postal Service for seven years, travel agent for the Security State Bank’s Fortune 500 Club, and was a licensed educational aide for The Vision Program at Ladysmith High School. She was also the first woman elected to the Rusk County Board and proudly served her community. Out of all these careers, her most rewarding was being a homemaker, making her home a castle, and loving her family with all her heart and soul.

She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church since 1977. She was an active member leading many young adults in Catechism and Confirmation, delivering communion to the homebound, as well as volunteering her time to church bazaars and fundraising drives.

Mary is survived by her husband, James Will; her children, Jeff (Tammy) Will of Rice Lake, Angela (Kevin) Pratt of New Auburn, Jennifer (Doug) Titera of Chippewa Falls and John (Kimberly) Will of Birchwood; 15 grandchildren, Kalie (Jordan) Amundson of Cameron, Kelsey (Cody) Broussard of Havelock, N.C., Joseph (Jerusha) Will of Roseville, Minn., Adam Pratt (Katoria Gappa) of Bloomer, Jacob Pratt of St. Cloud, Minn., Mikel Pratt of Bloomer, Parker Titera (Josie Borgen) of Madison, Makenzie Titera (Kyle Lehman) of Eau Claire, Elizabeth, JJ and Olivia Titera, Anna, Josephine and Benjamin Will; and three great-grandchildren, Kinley Jo and Jensen Amundson and Nora Lynn Pratt. She is also survived by her sisters, Wilma, Rose, Charlene, and Angela; her brothers, Ray, Albert, Ed, and Larry. She also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Anna Spaeth; her brothers, Francis, Cletus, Peter, Vern and Tony; and her grandchildren, Justin Paul Will, Kayla Rose Pratt and Christian Douglas Titera.

The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her and our family during her last illness.
Arrangements were provided by Nash-Jackan Funeral Home and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, where services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery this spring.
