Lee, Mable (30 JUN 1884 – 03 DEC 1970)

Mrs. Mable Lee, 86, a longtime resident of Stanley, died Thursday evening at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

She was born June 30, 1884, at Grenville, Quebec, Canada. She came to Chippewa Falls when she was 12 years old. She was married to James A. Lee on April 17, 1904 in Chippewa Falls. They went to the Town of Colburn in 1906, where they lived for many years. She has been a patient at the Victory Nursing Home for the last eight years.

She is survived by four sons, Gil of Forest, Illinois, Ray of Gilman, Ed of Thorp, and Howard of Owen; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Schultz of Gilman, and Mrs. Howard Kellmann of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Ernest Clark of Platteville; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley, with Reverend John Mastin officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Stanley.
