Turnquist, Carl B. (12 October 1900 – 28 September 1974)

Carl B. Turnquist, 73, Greenwood, died September 28 at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Wenger officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday at noon at the Hill Funeral Home.

He was born October 12, 1900 in Greenwood. He was married to Evelyn Olson June 21, 1933, in the Trondhjem Lutheran Church. He farmed in the Town of Warner until 2½ years ago when he retired and moved to the city of Greenwood.

He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, and is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Larry Solberg of Elk Mound, and Mrs. Tom (Hilda) Dennison of Green Bay; two sons, Chester, and Edward of Greenwood; six grandchildren, one brother, Arthur of Greenwood, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Elmer of Sun City, Az.
