Gardner, Judy Marie (24 MAR 1973)

Judy Marie Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gardner, Route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 1973, to Jerome Paul Bucheger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bucheger, Route 1, Greenwood.

The nuptial mass was performed by Father Koopman at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, with the bride's parents giving her in marriage. Tom Zepaltas was the organist.

The bride's dress was a Vogue designed cage style of white polyester double knit with long full sleeves with Venice lace and pearl button trim. Venice lace trimmed the neckline and hem, and the detachable train. The veil was a petaled headpiece with shoulder length veil. She carried pink carnations mixed with baby's breath.

Miss Beatie Kocher, Greenwood, was the maid of honor, and wore a princess style pinafore dress of white and lavender leno, underlined with a deep purple satin. Miss Michelle Barth, as flower girl, was dressed similar to the bride. They both carried baskets of lavender daisies, mixed with baby's breath.

A reception, supper, and dance were held at the Greenwood Legion Hall.

Mrs. Bucheger, a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School, and is employed at the Murphy Oil Corporation, Superior.

Her husband is a 1971 graduate of Greenwood High School and is now attending the University of Wisconsin, Superior, where he is enrolled in the ROTC program.

After a trip out east, the couple will be making their home at Superior, Wisconsin.
