Abramczuk, Mary M. (1 JUN 1894 – 31 MAR 1970)
Mrs. Mary M. Abramczuk, 76, passed away on Tuesday evening, March 31, 1970, at
the Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.
She was born in the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), June 1, 1894, the daughter
of Theodore and Ann Cieciora.
She was united in matrimony with Andrew Abramczuk at St. Hedwig's Catholic
Church of Thorp; after which they farmed in the township of Reseburg until 1939,
when they moved to the township of Withee, and they farmed there until
retirement in 1957.
She is survived by three sons: Alois of Thorp, August and Anton of Chicago; five
daughters: Mrs. Avery (Harriett) Nelson, Richmond, Illinois; Mrs. Anton (Ann)
Hendricks, Thorp, Mrs. Kenneth (Viola) Koher, Carpentersville, Illinois, Mrs.
Henry (Paula) Buczynski, Mount Prospect, Illinois, and Mrs. Peter (Louise)
Kaleta, Chicago, Illinois; 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and one
brother, Anton Cieciora of Thorp.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on
Friday, April 3rd, with Father Joe Walijewski officiating. Interment was in the
family plot in the parish cemetery.
