Draft Board (Registration - 1974)

The executive secretary for the selective service area office in Eau Claire, reminds that every young man must register with selective service when he reaches the age of 18. He must register 30 days before his 18th birthday. This requirement to register will continue in full effect even if the all-voluntary military force becomes a reality. Failure to register can result in a fine or imprisonment, or both.

The Eau Claire area office includes Clark County. Young men in this area may register at Neillsville High School; the County Veteran’s Service office in the Courthouse at Neillsville; or at the Selective Service Area office, Room 19 Federal Bldg., 510 Barstow St., Eau Claire.
