Daellenbach, James Emil (11 MAR 1936 - 28 AUG 2017)

James Emil Daellenbach, age 81, of Medford, passed away on Aug. 28, 2017, at his home under the care of family and Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. in Medford.

James was born on March 11, 1936, in Abbotsford, to Emil and Lucille A. Daellenbach. He attended Abbotsford Public Schools, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Devry Technical Institute in Chicago and Austin Community College in Texas. James and his father owned and operated Emil’s Music Center/Jim’s Sight and Sound Music Store in Abbotsford. Prior to his retirement, he worked for Land O’ Lakes Cheese Division in Spencer for 13 years.

James is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lucille R. Daellenbach; two sons, Jon (Melissa) Wakefield of Mass. and Michael (Kim) Farmington of Maine; and grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler and Natasha.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Jonathan Daellenbach.

Interment of his cremated remains will take place at the Abbotsford Cemetery at a later date.
