Zrutskie, Dawn Rae (Marriage – 3 August 1974)

Carrying a bouquet of yellow roses and white carnations, Miss Dawn Rae Zrutskie became the bride of Terry Kevin Littleton in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, August 3, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, by the Rev. Robert Fink.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Zrutskie, Colby, and Mrs. Jean Littleton of Rhinelander, and Allen Littleton of Monico.

The bride selected a gown of sheer organza styled with a high neckline trimmed with venise lace and bishop sleeves embellished with rows of venise lace and gathered to ruffled cuffs. Matching face edged hemline of the full skirt and edged her mantilla veil caught by a lace Camelot headpiece.

Her attendants, attired in yellow floral flocked nylon Edwardian style gowns, were Mrs. DuWayne Sheets, Colby, as matron-of-honor, and Mrs. Dusty Zrutskie, Colby, and Miss Brenda Bauer, Unity as bridesmaids. Each carried a single, long stemmed yellow rose.

Attending the groom were Dale Stamper, Crandon, as bestman, and Dusty Zrutskie, Colby, and Jerry Mullins, Crandon, as groomsmen. Ushering duties were shared by Terry Zrutskie, Wausau, and Dennis Bruesewitz, Unity.

Mrs. William Frome was the organist, and Matt Del Fatti, the soloist.

The Abbotsford city hall was the setting for the reception and dance following the ceremony.

The bride a 1970 graduate of Colby High School, has been employed by a Spencer firm. Her husband graduated from Crandon High School in 1969, and served in the U. S. Marine Corps for five years. He is presently employed, by a Monico forest products firm.

The newlyweds will make their home on Rt. 1 Crandon, following their return from a wedding trip to Canada.
