Kuehn, Ella L. (9 OCT 1883 – 13 JUL 1983)

NEILLSVILLE – Mrs. William F. (Ella L.) Kuehn, 99, of the Neillsville Memorial Home, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Howard Ott of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Town of Grant Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lester, Russell, Roger, Gerald, Duane and Buddy Kuehn.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday until service time.

The former Ella L. Bandt was born October 9, 1883 in Coloma, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Augusta Fauch) Bandt, and received her education there. She was married to William F. Kuehn March 30, 1904 in Coloma. They farmed in the Ripon area until 1925, and then moved to a farm in the Town of Grant, which they operated until her husband's death November 21, 1956. She later resided with a son, and in 1967 became a resident of the Memorial Home.

A member of United Methodist Church, Mrs. Kuehn is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Mayme) Carney, and Mrs. Casper (Hazel) Bruley, both of Chippewa Falls; five sons, Harry of Granton, George and Wesley, both of Neillsville, Laddie of Chippewa Falls, and William of Simi Valley, Calif. 19 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a daughter, Mabel, two sons, Edward and Lester, and two brothers and a sister.
