The victim was Gerry Hodd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hodd.

His father, owner of the Abbotsford Theater, is being treated in St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield for head, chest, shoulder and arm injuries suffered in the same accident. He was reported in fari condition today.

The fatality occurred while Hodd and his son were positioning a beam as part of the framework for the outdoor theater screen.

Funeral services for Gerry were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the new Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford, with the Rev. Charles Glidden officiating. Burial was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.

Gerry was born at Medford, October 10, 1951, and had lived in the Abbotsford area most of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Colby High Schol and had been employed with his father in the construction of the outdoor theater.
