Ovsak, Carol Jean (26 JUL 1969)

St. Bridget's Church, River Falls, was the scene of a lovely afternoon wedding which united Miss Carol Jean Ovsak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ovsak of rural River Falls, and James Ellis Krarup, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Krarup of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). The wedding was performed by the Rev. Harvey Olker on Saturday, July 26, 1969 at 1:30 o'clock. Music was rendered by Mrs. Everett Dodge.

When given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of white lace and organza, fashioned with empire A-line skirt. Her elbow length veil was attached to a headpiece of matching lace of gown and she carried a bouquet of red roses.

Mrs. Kathie Krarup of Deer Park, Wisconsin, the groom's sister-in-law, was matron of honor, and her bridesmaid was a cousin, Miss Ruth Ovsak of River Falls. They wore blue embossed taffeta floor length gowns of light blue with matching headpiece and carried a cascade of pink carnations.

The flower girls was a cousin of the bride, little Miss Diane Bazille, and the ring bearer, a brother of the bride, was Terry Ovsak.

Attending the groom as best man was Kevin Krarup of Deer Park, brother of the groom, and groomsman was Ronald Johnson of Eau Claire. Ushers were Dale Bazille, a cousin of the bride, and Jerry Jonas, brother-in-law of the groom.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the home of the bride's mother.

The bride attended high school in River Falls, being a 1967 graduate, and has been employed at H.D. Hudson Manufacturing Company at Hastings, Minnesota.

The groom graduated from the Owen-Withee High School and has been serving in the U.S. Army.

Following the wedding trip to Fort Hood, Texas, the newlyweds will make their home at Killeen, Texas.
