Hendricks, Nancy V. (14 DEC 1968)

A traditional bridal gown of peau de soie with chapel train and bouffant skirt was worn by Miss Nancy V. Hendricks as she repeated marriage vows Saturday, December 14, 1968 with Dennis R. Henke, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen.

The Rev. Hubert L. Crubel, pastor, officiated at the 11 a.m. service, at which the bride was given in marriage by her father.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hendricks of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Henke of Owen (Clark Co.). Her bouffant veil fell from a forward bow headpiece of the peau and she carried a traditional floral arrangement.

The bridal attendants were in floor length formals of olive lace and crepe, with floral headpiece of rolled tulle braid and short bouffant veils to match their dress. Each had a matching bouquet.

Miss Carol Gay, Withee, served as maid of honor, while Miss Betty Hofstetter, Stanley; Mrs. Pat Leibke, Withee; and Mrs. Donald Stolp, Stratford, were bridesmaids.

Martin Ryone Jr., Withee, was best man in the groom's party, with David Henke, Owen, David Wilson, Owen, and Donald Stolp of Stratford, as the groomsmen. Kenny Graham and David Miskanis seated the wedding guests at the church.

Wedding day events were a reception and dance at the Legion Hall in Owen, and a dinner served in the dining hall of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Both of the newlyweds attended Owen-Withee public schools. She is employed by Thorp Finance Corp in Thorp, and he is a personnel man in the U.S. Navy.

Their wedding trip took them to California, where they reside in Hanford at 413 Hanford Armonia Road.
