Hansen, Julia (22 MAY 1894 – 6? DEC 1968)

At two o'clock Monday afternoon, December 9, 1968 funeral services were held at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Julia Hansen, age 75. Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter was in charge of the service , with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Nerdrum, Owen Melin, Ray Slock, Morris Martin, Einar Pederson and Edward Engel.

In charge of floral offerings were Mrs. Madeline Weyhe and Mrs. Lloyd Nerdrum. Mrs. Bert Ebert was the organist and Misses Marily and Kathy Maki sang "In the Garden" and "Near My God to Thee."

Mrs. Hansen was born in Stanley, Wisconsin May 22, 1894. She was married March 18, 1916 at Owen to Hans C. Hansen, who preceded her in death. She lived most of her married life on a farm north of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

Survivors are six daughters: Mrs. Robert (Lila) Anderson, La Pointe' Mrs. Adolph (Grace) Schlapa, Northbrook, Ill.; Mrs. Eugene (Pearl) Schafer, Duluth, Minn.; Mrs. Thomas (Velma) Dale, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. LeRoy (Verma) Armitage, Fox Lake, Ill.; and Mrs. Jerry (Joyce) Puschnig, Milwaukee; two sons, James of Northbrook, Ill., and Harry of Withee; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Pederson, Owen; Mrs. Alice Englehart, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ruth Andress, Milwaukee; one brother, Milton, Anderson, Withee; twenty-four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and a sister.
