Benjamin Roy Gosar was born on July 24, 1992, in Marshfield, to Valentine R. and Carol L. (nee Miller) Gosar. For most of his childhood he was raised and received his education in the Chili area. In 2007, he moved to Greenwood, where he graduated from Greenwood High School in 2010. After high school, Ben enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was discharged after a short time due to a knee injury. He then worked as a welder, mechanic and in construction building homes. Ben had many interests, but especially loved playing basketball, hunting, fishing, and tinkering on cars.

He will be dearly missed by his father, Val Gosar of Chili; one brother: Gregory Gosar of Little Chute; two sisters: Briahna Miller of Medford, and Chayla Dobson of Black River Falls; his paternal grandmother: Donna Handke of Greenwood; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ben was preceded in death by his mother, Carol, on Jan. 30, 2013.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ben’s name.
