The Owen-Withee Class of 1958 held their 1- year reunion at the Meadowview Country Club Saturday night, w ith 39 class members of the original 72 present.
A delicious meal of prime beef and ham was prepared by Mrs. Ericksmoen and Mrs. Slock.
The tables were decorated with red roses; the class flower and the blue and white class colors were used overhead, as well as for the reunion booklets and names tags.
A short program followed the dinner, with Gordon Alexander acting as master of ceremonies.
Faculty member Arthur Feldman and Mrs. Feldman were special guests of the class.
Arlyn Mills read the class history, which proved to be quite interesting.
Prizes were awarded to Miss Joan Haemer, the shortest hair; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lindgren, coming the longest distance; David Lindau, being the baldest; Mrs. Barbara (Sommer) Wegner, the shortest skirt; Delores Wenzel and Kenneth Dearth, married the longest; and Bruce Amacher, married the shortest time.
It was decided to hold the next reunion 10 years hence, and a volunteer committee was put in place.
Thanks were given to Mrs. Sandra (Hardrath) Fritz, chairman of the reunion, and she in turn thanked her committee: Mrs. Sue (Gaffney) Johnson and Mrs. Eileen (Bower) Schreiber.
The remainder of the evening was spent renewing friendships.
