Janesville Settlement (29 May 1919)

Last Week
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Keefe spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stanley in Eaton Center.

F. Hatton and Roger Dillenbeck are putting up the cement foundation for the Clover Leaf Cheese Factory in West Eaton.

Anna and Sophia Waseca spent Sunday with Mrs. Lew Dimler.

Mrs. F. Hatton and sons, Clark and Russell, and Mrs. Dillenbeck were Marshfield callers Sunday.

Helen Farning spent Sunday afternoon with Nellie Sharp.

Fred Sturwald of Loyal called at the Loeffler and Buettner homes Wednesday evening.

Dr. Baker, Clark Hatton and Al. Flagg went to Marshfield Monday to consult Dr. Hipke. Mr. Flagg will have to have all his teeth removed before he will get relief.

John Stafford of Greenwood called on Joe Buettner Friday.

Mrs. S.B. Flagg spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Ed. Keefe.

Mr. Peterson of Chicago was here Saturday and Sunday, looking after his land.

Dr. Baker and family were out here fishing Sunday ay Wedges Creek. The doctor always has good luck.

Miss Moorehead and son, David, were at Greenwood Saturday to consult Dr. Boeckmann, as the flu left David in a very weak condition.

Mrs. F. Meyers, Mrs. F. Marlek and Mrs. Joe Lakotick spent Sunday with Mrs. F. Puik.

Mr. and Mrs. F. Kalkofen spent Sunday evening at F. Hatton’s.

Mr. and Mrs. C. Hatton, Helen Farning and F. Hatton took Mr. Peterson to Neillsville Sunday evening to take the train for his home in Chicago.

Mrs. F. Meyers, Mrs. F. Marlek and Mrs. Chris Loeffler spent Sunday evening with Mrs. R. Waseca.

Annabel and Loretta Moorhead are spending a few days with friends in Eaton Center.

Lew Dimler had a barn raising Tuesday to replace the one that was destroyed by fire last fall.
