Mrs. Paul Brenner was at Marshfield on Tuesday.
A.J. Sheddon transacted business to Wausau Tuesday.
John Rude returned yesterday from a visit in Minnesota.
Mrs. Thomas Lowe is receiving medical treatment at the Marshfield hospital.
F.L. Reinhardt and R.A. Clemens went to Milwaukee Tuesday night on business.
Mrs. Case returned to Wyeville yesterday after a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Croker.
Mrs. Wm. Holway of Madison came up Saturday to spend a few days with her father, brother and her sister, Mrs. Baer, of Granton.
Art Berger and Dave Gorman arrived home yesterday, having been mustered out of service at Camp David Tuesday. They were members of the 42nd Division.
The regular social meeting of the Women’s Community Club will be held Friday, May 16, at the home of Mrs. Emery Crosby. Refreshments will be served as usual. There is much need of sewing so a large attendance is urged.
The marriage of Clifford Blackman and Miss Nina Selves was solemnized on April 28 by Judge Schoengarth. The couple are prominent and capable young people of the Ridge, having grown up here and lived practically all their lives here. They will take up housekeeping on the Blackman farm on the Ridge.
