Rowley, Kathy Dee (11 NOV 1972)

In a setting of lighted tapers, Kathy Dee Rowley, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Dennis Pieper, Spencer, were united in marriage on Saturday, November 11 1972 at 1:30 p.m. The ceremony was held at the United Methodist Church, Loyal, with a reception following at the Star Lodge Motel. Dinner was served at the church at 4:30 p.m.

Reverend Eugene Carlson performed the ceremony, with Bonnie Wehrman as soloist. She was accompanied by Ruth Zepplin at the organ.

Kathy was seen in a bouffant silhouette gown of Chantilly lace, with bishop sleeves, and Sabrina neckline. She wore a chapel-length mantilla veil edged in Chantilly lace and carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

The bride was attended by Miss Karin Cooke, Superior, Wisconsin, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Debbie Young, Miss Julie Rowley, Miss JoAnn Rowley, all of Loyal. Miss Kathy Martens, Greenwood, served as a bridesmaid, along with Nancy Rowley serving as junior bridesmaid.

They were seen in full length royal blue velvet skirts with white chiffon tops edged with lace and royal blue velvet headpieces with shoulder length veils. Each carried a long stemmed red rose.

Attendants for Mr. Pieper were: John Bowe, Loyal, as best man, with the following serving as groomsmen: James Young, Larry Bowe, Loyal; Dale Alexander, Unity; David Pieper, Spencer. Junior groomsman was Douglas Pieper, Spencer.

A wedding dance was held at Spencer Municipal Hall at 9:00.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of Loyal High School. She now attends North Central Technical Institute at Wausau.

The groom attended loyal High School, and is now employed at Unity Diary as a cheesemaker.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dary Rowley, Route 1, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Denis Delmar Pieper, Route 1, Spencer, Wisconsin.
