Sekadlo, Louis "Louie" C. (22 JUN 1928 - 20 MAY 2017)

Louis "Louie" C. Sekadlo, 88, of Medford, passed away Saturday May 20, 2017 at The Home Place of Dorchester, under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.

Louis was born June 22, 1928 in Chicago Illinois to Louis and Katherine (Lump) Sekadlo. His family moved to Medford in August of 1940. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic School, and was a graduate of Medford High School.

He is survived by two nieces: Jolene Buck of North Carolina, Sandra Vischulis of Jackson, WI, long-time friend: Dick (Shirley) Werner of Medford, and other distant relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his Parents.

Louis enjoyed sports. During high school he served as the manager for the football and basketball teams for Medford. He then went on to work at Hurd Window Company for 28 years and retired in June of 1971 due to health reasons.

Louis was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Father Phil Juza will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of mass at noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Louis can be given to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
