Robert Meyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer, Gary Luchterhand, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Gerald Luchterhand, and Larry Capelle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Capelle,
have been named to receive the State Farmer Degree at the annual state FFA
convention. The three are students at Loyal High School. The boys were chosen
for the degree on the basis of application which included information about
their farming programs and leadership qualities, and which contained a statement
of their scholastic achievements.
The recipients of the State Farmer Degree are limited to two percent of the
total members of the state. The selections are made by state FFA officers and
their advisors.
David Von Ruden, agricultural instructor, is advisor of the Loyal chapter.
