Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cowles and Mrs. John S. Bannach visited the F.J. Shefchik family in Rhinelander Sunday and Monday.

Out of town visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cowles during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Shefchik, Rhinelander; Mrs. Joseph E. Worth, sons Karl and Joey, Stevens Point; Dr. Mary B. Cowles and Mr. Rene McShane, Madison.

Lola Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Anderson, spent the Christmas holidays at the home of her parents and also visited friends and relatives. On Monday she left to spend the balance of her vacation with a girlfriend at Webster.

Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Phipps were New Year's Day dinner guests at the L.G. Anderson home.

Guests at the Gerald Brasier home New Year's Day were Mrs. Ardyth Rossow and son David of Eugene, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Brecht and family of DePere; Mrs. Marion Brasier and children of Marshfield; and Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Brasier and girls Kim, Marie, Laura and Dana.

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Zimmermann, Ricky, Tim and Mrs. Lorinda Schultz left last Thursday evening for Milwaukee and returned home Sunday night. They spent Christmas with Mrs. Caroly Stasinopoulas. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Stasinopoulas and Tracie, Mr. and Mrs. David Jaloweis and Kristine; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kaltenbach Jr. and M. Robert Kaltenbach Sr. and Chris Stasinopoulas of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Ronald Luepke and Danny of Cedarburg.

David Zimmermann returned home Friday night after playing basketball at Mayville State, N.D., and North Dakota State, Fargo, N.D.. He left again Monday night and will play in the Corn Palace Classic at Mitchel, S.D., and will return home this Friday. David is a starter on the University of Wisconsin, River Falls Basketball team.

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Zimmermann and sons were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mielke, Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Weyer entertained all their children over the Christmas holidays. Those coming from away were Edward Weyer of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Mr. and Mrs. Dick Simonson, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Herr, Greenwood, and Ray Weyer Eau Claire. Bonnie Wehrman, Loyal, was also a guest there.

Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, Debbie and Kathy, Janesville, spent Tuesday and Wednesday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt.
