Brenner, Judy (18 OCT 1969)

Miss Judy Brenner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Brenner, route 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Donald Schesel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schesel, Stanley, on Saturday, October 18, 1969, at Holy Family Church, Stanley. Rev. John Pinion performed the 12:30 p.m. marriage ceremony. Elaine Fijalkiewicz was soloist.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a floor length empire styled bridal gown of peau. Lace bordered the long tapered sleeves, neckline, front of A-line skirt and chapel length train. Her bouffant veil of bridal illusion was secured to a double crown of Aurora Borealis crystals. Her flowers were 3 large white mums with small yellow, brown and gold mums, with greens.

Jeanine Setzer, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: June Mnkiolaicik, sister of the bride, and Carol Gutowski, friend of the bride. They wore floor length empire styled dresses of peau in gold, brown and avocado green, fashioned similar to the bride's. White bows bordered the elbow length sleeves, neckline and back panel. The harmonizing veils were secured to the pillbox hats and each carried a ball of mums in yellow, brown, gold and white.

Allen Setzer, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Louis Mnikolaicik, brother-in-law of the groom, of the bride, and Bob Hubbard, friend of the groom. Ushers were Clyde Krupa and Gerald Elsinger.

A reception from 2 – 5 was held at St. Hedwig's Quonset Hall, and a dance at Edson Pavilion. Nancy Gebauer, Elaine Fijalkiewicz and Gloria Smith cut the wedding cake. Denise and Dawn Kasakoski and Joanne Karshbaum poured. Janice Swim was in charge of the guest book.
