Troz, Patricia (4 OCT 1969)

Miss Patricia Troz and Kenneth J. Theirl repeated their wedding vows Saturday, October 4, 1969 at the Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Berg and the Rev. Carl Peters officiated at the double ring 2 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Troz, route 3, (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Theirl of Stanley

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a floor length empire styled bridal gown of satin brocade, fashioned with long tapered sleeves and a high neckline, accented by tiers of val lace ruffles. The A-line skirt swept into a chapel train. Her bouffant veil of sheer bridal illusion was secured to a cluster of pearl edged satin brocade petals and she carried a colonial bouquet of all white flowers, daisy pompons, stephanotis and carnations.

Mrs. Robert Lodahl was the matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Jo Ann Troz, Miss Barbara Theirl, and Mrs. Martin Myse. They wore rose petal floor length gowns of chiffon over linen fashioned with long sleeves and empire waistlines, accented with aqua satin ribbons. Their short veils were secured to clusters of bows and they carried colonial bouquets of white, pink and dark pink carnations.

Miss Julie Theirl, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, and she wore a dress similar to that of the bride, and carried a miniature of the bride’s bouquet.

David Theirl was his brother’s best man, and groomsmen were Arnold Roytek, Allan Theirl and Martin Myse. Robert Lodahl and Joseph Thornton were ushers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Stanley Auditorium with 350 guests in attendance. The bride’s mother was in the receiving line wearing a one piece blue knit dress and the groom’s mother wore a coat and dress ensemble in blue. Each wore a corsage of carnations.

The bride graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School and the Eau Claire Vocational School, and is a secretary at WSU, Eau Claire. The groom was graduated from the Stanley-Boyd High School and is a student at WSU, Eau Claire.

Guests were present from Madison, Chicago, Iowa, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Sparta, La Crosse and the area.
