Michael F. Zakrzewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene F. Zakrzewicz of route 2,
Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, was promoted to Specialist 5 on June 2, 1969.
Specialist Zakrzewicz is a 1967 graduate of Gilman High School and is serving
with the XXIV Corps, Artillery, in Phu Bai, Vietnam as an artillery surveyor.
The 19 year old soldier entered the army in January 1968 and has been in Vietnam
since November.
