Rossman, Linda Lou (10 MAY 1969)

Linda Lou Rossman and Richard Eugene La Belle were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, May 10, 1969 by Rev. R.W. Olson at a 7:30 candlelight ceremony in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thorp, Wis.

The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Rossman, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, and the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven La Belle, Zion, Illinois.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an A-line floor length white bridal gown with long sleeves. A chapel train swept gracefully from the empire waist. Clusters of petals and pearls secured her bouffant veil of sheer illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of chrysanthemums and stephanotis.

Sandra Johnson was maid of honor, and Joan Broemelkamp and Linda Irish were bridesmaids, all friends of the bride. They wore floor length blue dotted Swiss dresses and carried a large blue chrysanthemum to match.

Douglas La Belle, brother of the groom, was best man, and Roger Taylor, a friend, and Harvey Rossman, brother of the bride, were groomsmen.

Ushers were Larry La Belle and Jerome Rossman, brothers of the groom and bride.. The wedding music was played by Maxine Christopherson, and the soloist, Betty Buss, sang "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer."

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors.

The bride is a 1967 graduate of Thorp High School and is employed at Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago, Ill.

The groom is a graduate of Zion High School and De Kalb, Ill. University, and is now employed at Midway Heating and Supply Co. in Zion, Ill.

After a wedding trip to the Ozarks, the La Belle's will be at home at 913 Eighth St., Waukegan, Ill.
