Leon Mnichowicz flew in from Chicago with his private plane Saturday to visit with his parents and brother, Tony Mnichowicz, also to visit his grandmother, Mrs. Stella Pawlak, who is a patient at the Stanley Hospital.

Miss Dolores Berenchik from Chicago visited with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Kornowal.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kulinski motored to Eau Claire on April 22 to visit their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Freidl.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sromek from Roselle, Ill., visited with Mr. and Mrs. F. Graboki, also the Paul Libiecki home on Sunday.


Mr. and Mrs. Florian Lisiecki visited their grandson, who is at the Stanley Hospital. He is a victim of an automobile and bike accident.

Laura Pentimone broke her right wrists while playing baseball at the school grounds.

Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church was the wedding scene of Gregory Sromek and Jean Hentzel. The nuptials were performed by Father Norbert West. The reception took place at the Quonset at Thorp. The newlyweds will make their home in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. James Olson of Withee were supper guests at their parent's home, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Kotowski. The Olson's also left for Montana Monday morning. They will make their home there for some time.

A surprise birthday party was held for Father Norbert West Sunday afternoon. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you all for coming.
