Kissling, Jane Marie (21 November 1928 – 1 January 2017)

Jane Kissling, 88, of Neillsville died Sunday, Jan 1, 2017, at the Care & Rehab – Neillsville Center.

Jane Marie Kissling was born Nov. 21, 1928, in Janesville, the daughter of George E. and Irma (Rowe) Pepper. She graduated from Neillsville High School and later was united in marriage to Ernest D. Kissling in June of 1950.

She loved cats, and she enjoyed bowling, and knitting in her spare time.

She is survived, by a son, Michael (Patricia) Kissling of Neillsville, a granddaughter, Cassandra (James) Jones of Wasilla, AK; two brothers, George A. “Red” (Loreeta) Pepper of Rapid City, SD, and Wayne (Barbara) Pepper of Janesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents, a daughter, Vicki Kissling; and two sisters: Elizabeth “Betty” Kapfer and Shirley M. (Willie) Murphey.

Visitation for Jane will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Satruday, Jan. 7, 2017, at the Gesche Funeral home in Neillsville. Asper Jane’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Interment will be in the Town of Grant Cemetery, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Clark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 127, Neillsville, WI 54456.
