Allmann, Sandra (7 JUN 1969)

Miss Sandra Allmann, daughter of Mrs. Lawrence Allmann and the late Lawrence Allmann of Colby, and Sidney Lokken, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Ro(?) of Brantwood , Wisconsin, were joined in Holy Matrimony in St. Mary's Church in Colby at a 1 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 7, 1969. Father Olson officiated at the ceremony. The Brothers of Pious X sand and brother Francis played the organ, and brother Conrad played the guitar.

Marry Allmann, Edgar, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Sue Lokken of Brantwood, Wis., and Miss Sue Allmann of Colby. Assisting as flower girl was Kendra Lokken of Irma, Wis.

Russ Allman, Edgar, attended as best man. Groomsmen were Roger Goldbeck of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, and Dave Lokken of Ironwood, Michigan. Acting as ring bearer was Ricky Jeske.

Jim Allmann, Colby, and Mark Gaedtke, Tomahawk, Wis., served as ushers.

The bride was attired in a floor length empire gown with scalloped Sabrina neckline on the bodice of Venice lace. An A-line skirt of lace and organza was completed by a tiered chapel train of lace. She also wore a circular petal cluster headpiece of nylon tulle with lace appliques and pearl and crystal trim. She walked to the altar carrying a bouquet of white carnations and tinted red roses.

Carrying baskets of white and aqua daisies, the bridal attendants wore floor length gowns of aqua chiffon over taffeta. The sleeves ended in a pleated ruffle. The high ruffled collard necklines were banded with Venice lace, a band of which also defined the length of the gowns. Three dainty chiffon bows set off the modified empire waistline which flowed into an A-line skirt. Flower appliqued tulle petals centered with horsehair loops created the headpieces which were secured in two-tiered short bouffant veils.

A reception at the Colby City Hall followed the wedding, with dinner served later in the St. Mary's gym. A dance was held later in the evening at the Abbotsford Sportsman Park.

The couple will live at 1221 Second Street, Stevens Point, Wis.

The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and Taylor County Teachers College. She is currently employed in the Almond school system. Her husband is a graduate of Tomahawk High School and a veteran of the Air Force. He is now a student at Wisconsin State University, Stevens Point.
