Mesenberg, Suzette Renee (26 APR 1969)
The former Suzette Renee Mesenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mesenberg
of Wausau, and Gary Meyer of the U.S. Army, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Edblom of
Unity, were united in marriage at a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, April 26, 1969, at
St. Mary's Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Henry J. Cassidy officiated at the
ceremony.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Kenneth Mesenberg, and Miss Carolyn Malis and Miss
Diane Moser were bridesmaids, and Lisa Mesenberg was the miniature bride.
Ronald Fountaine served as the best man. Groomsmen were Robert Meyer, route 1,
Unity, and Allan Mesenberg of Wausau, and ring bearer was Ronnie Meyer. Ushers
were Ronald Meyer of Marshfield and Dennis Fountaine.
The bride wore a floor length gown of rosepoint lace with train and a long veil
attached to a crown of pointed petals. She carried a bouquet of red roses with
rose petal streamers and pompons.
The bridal attendants woe A-line empire gowns made of white lace and peach
fabric, and their headpieces were peach petals with veils. Each had a floral
arrangement.
Festivities of the day included a dinner at Trail's End at Wausau, a reception
and dance.
The groom was a 1966 graduate of Colby High School and attended the technical
institute for two eyars. He is presently serving in the U.S. Army, taking
advanced infantry training at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. The bride is presently
residing with her parents.
