Mr. and Mrs. John Oestreich have purchased the farm of Mrs. John Stubbs, town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.), and plan to continue to live in their home in Abbotsford at present. Mrs. Stubbs has purchased the Eino Kangas house on the corner of Oak and Second Street, and she and her son are now living there.

Tony Carlson has returned from California, where he spent the winter with his sister, Mrs. Alma Gore, at Turlock. On his return he spent two weeks at Minneapolis with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Burch and family, and they brought him here the Thursday before Easter. Mr. Carlson is presently staying with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Carlson, at Dorchester.

The birthday anniversary of Mrs. Norman Huss, which occurred the day before Easter, was celebrated Sunday, April 13, 1967 at a dinner for relatives at the Medo-Farms and supper at the Huss home. In the group were the children of Mr. and Mrs. Huss and four sisters and two brothers of Mrs. Huss, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Huss and family, Peshtigo, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown and family, Athens, Mrs. Roy Huss and Kim of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Omar Bowers, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bowers, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Arnoldussen of Kaukauna, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Vanasten of Kimberly, Sister Rita Bowers of Madison and Mrs. Henry Van Wychen of Wrightstown.

Patrick Pecher celebrated his fifth birthday anniversary on April 16. Guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Pecher, were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pecher, and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wiese and Dean.

Mrs. Margaret Weideman returned Wednesday of last week from Racine, where she spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schubert. Mrs. Schubert is her granddaughter. While there her birthday anniversary occurred Tuesday and was celebrated. After he return here, friends and neighbors gathered at her house Saturday afternoon to celebrate the event.
